Inspection of Heat Exchangers

Eddy Current inspection allows the identification and evaluation of defects or discontinuities in heat exchanger tubes and pipes.

Eddy current or eddy current test is an electromagnetic test procedure performed with multiple frequency equipment. The inspection allows to reduce forced plant stoppages, determines the remaining life of the tubes, this technique allows the detection of defects such as pits, cracks, erosion, corrosion, grooves, and/or dents.

At Grupo PIESADEC we have specialized and certified personnel in Eddy Currents Level II by SNT-TC-1A, with experience in the use of the equipment, we have certified equipment and probes for the different materials and diameters to meet all possible scenarios of inspection.
