Eddy Current Arrangement
The Non-Destructive Test of Pulsed Eddy Currents for the measurement of thicknesses in ferromagnetic materials through coatings without removing it is an option for Insulation Corrosion Inspection (CUI) that is one of the big problems in the petrochemical industry, with the Eddy Current Arrangement Tool (PECA) inspecting isolated equipment and pipes is faster and more efficient as it can perform complete surface scans in a short time.
With the Pulsed Eddy Current Array kit it is possible to scan through thick insulations, as well as waterproof jackets made of aluminum, stainless steel and galvanized steel, the Eddy Current Array kit has a single pass coverage of 457 mm (18-inch) in grid or high-resolution encoded dynamic mode.
In Grupo Piesadec we have certified personnel in Eddy Currents Level II under SNT-TC-1A and we have calibrated and certified equipment to be able to carry out inspections in any scenario.
