Boiler Inspection

The maintenance and inspection of boilers is very important for both production and safety, the inspection is basic to prevent any eventuality, therefore, it is advisable to carry out critical inspections, to avoid high risk failures in boiler systems.

The tests that are normally carried out in a boiler inspection are the following:

Compilation of background and operating history of the boiler.
Thorough visual examination by a boiler expert.
Test of bulging or dimensional verification.
Collection of deposits and waste flakes for laboratory analysis.
Measurements of oxide thickness in the field.
WFMT / PT of selected critical weld joints.
Detailed thickness measurement.
